CNC Machinist

**CNC Machinist | Normanton | 40 hours per week | £32,000 per annum**

The company has state of the art CNC Machining Centres and CNC Lathes that can do any type of machining and batch size complemented with an on-site CAD-CAM facility with 4th-axis control to produce a range of complex parts.

Their CNC Routers are the best in the industry featuring 5th axis machining to cope with most designs.

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- CNC machining experience
- The drive and ability to work independently as a self-starter
- Good communication skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Be able to show an understanding of good time management required for production work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation
- Be an organised clean & tidy worker

**What will your role look like?**
- Complete the tasks set by the Head of the Department
- Programme and machine components to drawings using appropriate CNC machine tooling
- Self-inspect of components to the company inspection procedure
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Daily checks of CNC machinery and tooling inventory
- Complete relevant quality assurance systems
- Communicate to the Head of the Department regarding non-conformance issues
- Use Calibrated Measuring equipment to check against specific requirements
- Comply with company policy regarding health and safety
- Comply with company policy regarding environmental safety by following guidelines
- Comply with Company policy regarding quality by following guidelines
