**Visual Merchandising Assistant**
Purpose of Role:
- To be an ambassador for Visual Merchandising within store.
- Implement and deliver an inspiring visual proposition for the Primark brand, to enhance the customer experience and to maximise sales through visual techniques.
Reports to: Visual Merchandising Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Work with VM Manager / Store Manager to deliver VM look and feel across the store.
- Overall accountability to Implement and maintain windows
- Influence and guide store teams.
- Lead by example and aim to be seen as an expert within the store
Key Responsibilities:
Brand
- Implement campaigns in a timely and effective manner as instructed by company guidelines and in line with instructions from VM Manager / Store Manager
- Accountable to deliver excellence in our windows
- Understand and share latest trends (social & local market) ensuring this is reflected in mannequin product selection and styling
- Knowledgeable of product range, equipment, stock density and linear efficiencies to influence decision making in store
- Implement the Store of Excellence standard within your store
Communications
- Communicate information on trends, key lines and visual principles
- Keeping the team up to date with current and upcoming VM activity
- Support with best practise for campaigns, windows and visual merchandising principles
Operations
- Managing the POS
- Work with store management teams to implement floor moves
- Liaise with store management to ensure effective stock maintenance relating to VM displays (planning, awareness of stock availability and ordering systems)
- Support cost control initiatives (POS allocations, equipment fit for purpose and secure etc.)
People & Relationships
- Manage upwards effectively whilst maintaining relationships and discretion at all levels

- Previous VM and Retail experience
