**Locations**: Bushbury, Wolverhampton

**Make a difference to Children in our Care: Do you have your Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare, and looking for a new challenge in a small Childrens home due to open imminently, if so, we have the role for you.**

**Our home (opening soon) in Wolverhampton is a Childrens residential home in the local community supporting upto two Children/young people in an independant living environment.**
- **Salary: £25,200 - £27,300**:

- **Other benefits: £60 per sleep in**

**Top up your salary: If you do 2 x sleep in's a month you will earn upto £1440 per year on top of above salary.**

**Hours**:Average 40 hours per week (1 on, 2 off day rota)

**Contract**:Permanent

**Job Summary**:
As the **Team Leader** for the Childrens Home, some of your duties will be:

- Working with the Management team to ensure that systems and standards are maintained at a high quality level.
- You will be nominated daily shift lead, by planning organising and ensuring completion of team duties for the day and handover to oncoming shifts.
- You must be able to motivate, support and guidance for staff on duty, on all shifts. Provide Staff supervision and appraisals.
- To provide on call support for staff, from home on a rota basis.
- Organising rotas and ensuring correct deployment of staff team
- To actively promote and take part in social, leisure, educational, life skills, holidays and other activities with children and young people.
- To support each young person to maintain a high standard of personal care; including intimate care, personal hygiene, health and sexual health needs and awareness and any mobility support that is needed.
- To support the medical health needs of children and young people, inclusive of medication administration, medical appointments and therapeutic and mental health and wellbeing needs**.**

- Experience in Residential childcare **(Essential)**:

- Qualified - You **must **hold a Diploma **Level 3 in diploma for residential childcare **or equivalent **(Essential)**
