Your Local Tutors was initially a small service operating out of the founder's residential home in Wimbledon. Eventually, our founder became exceptionally busy spending her weekends legging it around London to visit her favourite little ones. Since then, Your Local Tutors has taken the bull by the horns and expanded the service to be there when children and families need us the most. It is no longer run by the founder alone as we have a range of tutors and specialise in connecting them to the children who need us. Our work often involves supporting a student to catch up with the curriculum, prepping students for sitting an entry exam, assisting them to master a particular topic or mentoring to build up confidence

**We'd love for you to join our fun and friendly team of tutors We are looking for a tutor based in Forest Hill (or surrounding areas e.g. Sydenham or Catford) for one of the vacant roles that we have in Forest Hill (the students have a SE23 postcode). The role entails tutoring 1 or 2 children (siblings) in Maths and the tutor will be paid £20 per hour. One student is in year 4, the other is in year 7. **This role has very particular requirements. Please read the eligibility criteria below carefully to ensure that you meet these before applying.**

ELIGIBILITY:

- MUST have some professional experience working with children and/or young people e.g. teaching assistants, teachers, youth workers, childcare practitioners etc. (REQUIRED)
- Will ideally be available on a weekday evening after 4.30pm (excluding Wednesday's due to families availability) (REQUIRED)
- Educated to degree level (DESIRABLE)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 1-2 per week
