We are looking for a passionate Ward Clerk/Administrator to join our multi-disciplinary team on Lambourn Pre-Discharge Unit. Lambourn PDU is a low secure, pre-discharge unit with 15 beds.
It is a mixed ward (can accommodate up to 4 females’ service users). We provide our group of service users, who are ready to move from secure care into the community a steppingstone to enhance their recovery and to complete their pathway from secure care to live in the community.
Lambourn PDU is situated at the Oxford Clinic on the Littlemore Mental Health Centre site in the city of Oxford.
You must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual and work well in a team, whilst being adaptable to changing situations. You will need to be able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy and intensive environment dealing with unpredictable situations whilst remaining focused on providing a person-centered and recovery approach to care and treatment.

We are currently recruiting for a Ward Clerk that will manage and provide secretarial and administrative support. A strong sense of teamwork and commitment to maintaining high standards is essential to this position. The role will suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office where they would be able to work as a team as well as under their own initiative.
You will need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, be able to provide excellent customer service and deal with administrative tasks in a timely and effective manner.
