We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care to join our team in Durham.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a pre-schooler who lives at home with his loving family in Durham and requires support with his complex and clinical care needs on a 1:1 basis.

He is a cheerful young boy who loves attention and cuddles from those around him. He enjoys listening to his favourite music and exploring in all sensory activities.

Throughout the day you will provide support with all daily tasks including personal care, moving, and handling, and attending to his clinical care needs when required.

You will assist him to enjoy his interests, and support and encourage his learning and development through play and interaction.

Building trust and providing emotional support, offering reassurance and comfort is a big part of this role to promote a positive relationship with our young service user and his family.

**It is essential to have experience with tracheostomy care for this position**

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Tracheostomy Care

**Desirable Experience**
- Complex care with children
- Ventilation Management
- Oral suctioning
- Enteral feeding

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Days
- 1 shift per week
- 9:00am-5:00pm
- Additional hours available across alternate packages.

**Take a look at our payrates**

Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (£96.00 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Weekends: £12.50 per hour (£100 approx. per 8-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £13.00 per hour (£104 approx. per 8-hour shift)
