**Position Overview**

The position of a Project Officer requires the employee to organise, manage and schedule staff to carry our survey projects. The position is responsible for managing all aspects of survey logistics, analysis and providing daily reports to the UK Manager.

**Duties and responsibilities**

The main duties and responsibilities of a Project Officer include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for managing all types of traffic surveys
- Organise and schedule field installers by utilising Service M8 and Trinity.
- Supervise Field Installers and ensure the company meets OH&S regulations
- Prepare Site Paperwork, SWMS obtain permissions and licences from local authority.
- Manage induction process.
- Liaise with processing teams and analysis teams
- Draft daily/ weekly reports of survey updates and send them to the relevant Project Manager
- Attend to, resolve and report site issues.
- Attend to, resolve and report on data quality issues.
- Organise a team of site technicians, ensuring they abide by Matrix rules and standards.
- Resolve logistics and data issues.
- Review, reconcile and approve survey data and final results.
- Manage equipment availability and ensure a supply is readily available to site Technicians.

**Experience & Education**
- A Project Management qualification and/or experience for this role is beneficial. Experience within the traffic and transport industry is preferred but not essential.

**Working Conditions**
- The position is based at our Carlisle Office CA6 4SP. Working from home will be permitted when workload permits.
- The hours of work will be 40 hours. 09:00 to 17:00.
- Working on site maybe required from time to time to assist with busy workloads.
- There is a 3-month probation period.
- Overtime will be available at times of high workload but not mandatory.
- 25 Days Annual Leave Per Year (pro rata) plus Bank holidays.
- Standard sick pay entitlement.
- Company Pension Scheme.
- Training will be held in our Carlisle office and also for a couple of days at our Wetherby office. LS23.

There is a great opportunity for career progression within this role should the applicant be keen to progress to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager.
