ERP Project Manager required for a UK based remote contract, outside IR35 with an initial 12 month term. Our public sector client is undertaking a large Core Business Transformation programme which is seeking to bring about fundamental changes in the way Finance, Procurement, HR and Payroll activities are undertaken across the organisation. Current business processes are often hindered by technology which is unintuitive, labour intensive and difficult to extract data from whilst at the same time lacking key functionality. The technology is out of date and nearing 'end of life', presenting an increasedrisk to business continuity. The main systems that are to be replaced comprise of an internally developed "Oracle Forms" based finance management system, a SAP implementation for Payroll and some elements of employee self-service, plus a cloud based solution for learning and developmentand e-recruitment. A complex configuration of interfaces exist between these systems and other line of business systems which will need to be reviewed and where appropriate replicated in any new solution. As an experienced ERP Project Manager you will manage the delivery of the technical aspects of the overall programme. Microsoft Dynamics has been selected as the technical solution for the Finance aspect. However, our client is mindful that Dynamics will needto be developed and tested in an complex and large scale public sector environment and as such this has not been done before. To that end, an implementation partner is currently being sought. As the ERP Project Manager you will take responsibility for the technology aspects required to support the programme. You will co-ordinate the activities of the technical teams and any 3rd party suppliers / delivery partner; developing detailed project plans,translating technical, business and functional requirements into project tasks. The ERP Technical Project Manager will be expected to manage a range of activities, timetables, budgets, risks and issues and project deliverables. Stakeholder management is keyin this role as is having experience of supporting change management initiatives. - Fully qualified Project Manager with practical experience of Agile project management methodologies - Proven experience of managing the technical aspects of large and complex ERP Implementations (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365)
