Graduate Asset Planning Surveyor

In this role, you will support the delivery of professional services, focusing on various data capture surveys, including quality assurance inspections, stock condition surveys, forward planning surveys, energy performance surveys, asbestos re-inspection surveys, and HHSRS surveys.
A strong understanding of construction legislation and a background in conducting various building surveys are expected. Additionally, a solid knowledge of on-site health and safety regulations is essential.
You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the business and work closely with Asset Management colleagues to ensure a seamless and value-for-money (VFM) service for our customers and clients.
- Assist the team in carrying out a range of asset management related surveys including updating internal systems as required to ensure that accurate records are always maintained.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to agree modifications to design briefs and provide technical advice as and where required.
- Assist the team in carrying out validation surveys to confirm the need for future investment-based activities, both at individual and estate-based levels.
- Assist the team in carrying out assessments relating to the production of Energy Performance Certificates.
- Assist the team in determining the condition of existing buildings, identifying, and analysing defects, including proposals for repair or appropriate action.
- Level 4 qualification in construction or equivalent
- Evidence of and commitment to continual professional and personal development
- Ability to complete various survey types of stock condition, HHSRS and asbestos validation surveys using electronic data capture.
- A sound knowledge of health and safety legislation relevant to property maintenance
- Demonstrates a commitment to H&S to ensure safe operations and environment for staff and customers.
