**Our Business**

Engineering services are delivered for the px group by the engineering consultancy division px Engineering Consultants Limited (“PXECL”). The team comprises of managers, senior engineers, engineers and designers that have direct experience of construction projects and operating facilities, as well as exceptional engineering expertise.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Principal C&I Designer to provide delivery of defined engineering tasks for different projects to the highest standards complying with legal obligations and client requirements. In addition, the role involves supporting the development of proposals for new business opportunities, provision of consultancy services and project management.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Level 3 Qualification in Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
- Experience in the delivery of minor modifications and supporting projects during the full life-cycle including Pre-FEEDs, FEEDs and EPC phases within the chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and power generation industries.
- Expertise in the use of Autodesk AutoCad and 3D modelling packages, including Navisworks.
- Can demonstrate full appreciation of best practice in the production of GA and detailed drawings including checking/approval processes, design and safety reviews.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to support continuous improvement and the generation of project & discipline procedures.
