Summary:
To support the SHEQ Manager in the operation and maintenance of company systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, IEC / ISO 27001 & ISO 14001) covering the effective management of quality, health, Information security, safety and environmental standards. To understand,adhere, adapt, improve and implement the overall company SHEQ policy. Leading by example a culture of driving safe working, while working to company processes and systems so that the business is always audit ready.
**Duties**:
- Efficiently assist in implementing the company’s SHEQ Policies.
- Maintain the non-conformance system ensuring non-conformances are closed in a timely basis, root cause determined, and trends identified.
- Assist in maintaining external certification and attaining new certification.
- Ensure processes are followed and key cultures and behaviors are embedded across all areas of the business.
- Develop internal processes linking inputs, outputs, resources and constraints to include areas such as IT, Sales and administration functions.
- Assist in ensuring Management of Change is considered in all areas.
- Provide vision, energy, and lead by example to establish best practice.
- Conduct internal and external audits as required by the company’s accreditations.
- Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with process.
- Proactively work and assist with the operational teams to ensure that SHEQ is considered at all stages and that relevant control measures are identified.
- Provide proactive support and guidance to the Company on compliance with statutory requirements and company standards and monitor for any changes/proposed changes to legislation or laws that would impact the business.
About you:
- Be trained as an auditor, ideally in ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001- and you will know how to get and maintain compliance with ISO standards.
- Able to work with stakeholders across the business to ensure that processes are maintained and followed, communicating clearly at all levels to make things happen.
- Be a good communicator, self-motivated, able to work unsupervised, by yourself or as part of a team and to demonstrate initiative and out of the box thinking.
- Be analytical, proactive and tenacious - making sure that the standards unpinning our systems are met, making sure that the required improvements are captured, the drive to root cause is found and the actions taken and completed.
