**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We have an **exciting opportunity for a new service leader level 3 **managing a supported living service in Sheffield housing individuals aged between 20 and 50 with a range of challenges including, Mental health, Autism, PDA and complex learning disabilities. The role will be supported by a service leader level 1 within the managerial team. This service is dedicated to the team work as a family to share thoughts and ideas, keeping person centred care and ensuring those we support live their best lives possible at the heart of what we do.
The service is made up of 8 individual flats and a team of 5 colleagues working at Advanced support worker level on shift at once. The team is dedicated to what they do and this position as a service leader level 3 will be an amazing opportunity to work alongside colleagues that go the extra mile in what they do. We are looking for an **individual to motivate** this team by **driving performance**, **setting the pace and direction** within services, **promoting a positive and passionate culture**, and ensuring that services are appropriately and effectively resourced to change lives for the better.
With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community. You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times. In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area.
It is essential for this role that y**ou **will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care**, i.e. Qualified Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 4 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 5 (England). Evidence of continuing professional development and it is desirable to have Medication level 3 training and ability to undertake competency assessments for Support Workers.
