We are a multi-modal logistics provider with service partners in the oil and gas, construction, fashion and retail industries and have seen monumental growth over the last few years. With multi-million pound sites across the UK and well over 1000 employees,we are now looking to strengthen our operational team even further and enable us to be the service partner of choice to our customers.

As the Import Manager for our ocean freight division you will be the focal point of our sea freight division. You will be experienced in all current compliance procedures and have proven a background completing customs clearance records and have live recentexperience working with ETSF for the maritime industry

**The Duties of the Ocean Freight Import Manager will include;**
- Manage the day to day activities of the ocean freight imports division
- Provide full visibility to service partners and clients updating all required, necessary paperwork, databases and external portals
- Accurate completion of customs clearance & ETSF records
- Oversee entire operations ensuring all SLA and agreed KPI's are maintained and surpassed
- Analyse current procedures pointing out areas of improvements, feasibility studies and implementing
- Work as part of a multi-modal team providing a 1st class logistics service
- Working ho0urs, 9am - 5:30pm, some flexibility considered

**The Successful Operations Manager will enjoy**:

**The Required experience & characteristics of the Ocean Freight Imports Manager will be**:

- Must have experience providing logistics solutions for a similar multi-modal logistics specialist
- Experience managing, supervising an operational team
- Experience with customer clearance procedures
- Live within commutable distance to Heathrow
- Professional fluency in English, other languages a plus
