**Programme Overview**
Client group are in the process of undergoing a HR Transformation in a number of areas. This includes strategy shaping, Service delivery, Organisational Design, Service Centre, Location Strategy, Process Reengineering and technology consolidation.
The Technology of choice is Workday. This workstream within the wider programme will involve implementation of core HCM data supplemented by a number of modules covering the Hire to Retire processes.
**Role Overview**
Reporting to the Programme Director the Design & Operational Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the HR Transformation meet objectives not only by the usual Programme constraints (Time, Cost and Scope) but by increasing employee adoption for a greaterenhanced employee experience.
The purpose of the role is to develop, influence and implement the underpinning aspects to the HR Transformation Programme. This includes taking the Concepts of the developing HR Target Operating Model and ensures this develops with view to the short, medium-and long-term objectives. These includes the HR Organisational Design, Shared Service Centre concepts and delivery with the notion of process reengineering.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design?a detailed HR Operating Model with all relevant elements (e.g.?HR Governance, HR roles etc.)?
- Ensure the operating model is developed with all relevant stakeholder input across groups and divisions
- Understand and integrate the proposed operating model with other relevant areas within Client 's organisation i.e. Operations, Finance and Procurement
- Build out the Operating Model ensuring linkages to Shared Services elements of the Programme
- Help to develop and identify the transformation needs of?Client 's?HR groups and divisions (processes, way of working, organisation)??
- Ensure timely alignments with relevant stakeholders (e.g. functional team) on dependencies
- Conduct workshops to validate organisation design with stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies requirements
- Completes all appropriate documentation required especially by the processes design team that will help drive process design
- Provide status to project management regarding the Operating Model as part of an overall HR Transformation Programme
- Analyse and define training needs for HR, identify the existing gaps in order to aid change adoption and training
**Skills and Knowledge**:
- Expertise in HR organisation design including team/job/role design and development
- Proven ability to deliver large scale complex organisation changes, ideally in an international and Federated organisation (expertise in HR transformation)
- Strong HR business acumen, analytical and conceptual thinking
- End-to-end HR process know-how desirable
- Expertise in HCM System competencies (preferably Workday)
- Capability to reduce complexity and to identify / manage dependencies
- Proactive and effective communicator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good project management, planning and organizational skills
- Skilled in the facilitation of senior audiences through complex organization design activities and issues
**Technical Knowledge and Experience**:
- Demonstrable track record in delivering complex HR Transformation Programmes within a variety of businesses including those deemed to be federated
- Clear ability to take accountable ownership of design, development and delivery of Global HR Operating Models
- Excellent aptitude for managing a diverse range of stakeholders, implementation partners and internal programme delivery team
- Ability to execute a HR Transformation Programme ensuring Client 's strategic direction is actively realised
- Capability to be align all aspects of a HR Transformation Programme focussing in on Target Operating Models
- Knowledge of Technologies and Tools including HRIS (preferably Workday)
**Behavioural Competencies**:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication and engagement styles according to the audience
- Confident in meetings with senior business representatives including C suite
- Focus on delivering high quality engagement and deliverables to a defined plan and ability to mentor the extended change team to deliver this
- Flexible, cooperative and comfortable working with multiple different teams, ensuring that all points of view are considered
