**Job Title**: Warehouse Supervisor

**Job Overview**:
**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Stock Organisation and Rotation**:

- Help keep on top to organise and rotate all stock, including spare parts, in both warehouse locations.
- Ensure new stock is placed at the back, and older stock is positioned at the front, to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation.
- Maintain clear labelling and efficient storage to maximise space and ensure quick retrieval.
- **Staff Management and Work Allocation**:

- Allocate tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor staff performance and time management to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Provide training and guidance to staff as necessary, ensuring all team members are fully equipped to carry out their roles.
- Delegate tasks to staff while also being hands-on and offering support where required.
- **Warehouse Maintenance and Tidiness**:

- Keep the warehouse neat, tidy, and organised, ensuring space is created for new stock and operations run smoothly.
- Oversee the removal of any waste or non-essential materials to prevent clutter and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all stock is stored in a safe and secure manner.
- **Stock Reporting**:

- Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts and audits, ensuring accurate reporting and record-keeping.
- Report on stock levels, discrepancies, and any issues with inventory, making recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain and update all stock records, ensuring data accuracy.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to, both by yourself and the warehouse staff.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure that safety checks are up to date.
- Ensure all warehouse staff are fully trained on health and safety practices and actively enforce safety protocols in daily operations.
- Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to eliminate or mitigate risks.
- **Returns and Ex-Demos Management**:

- Keep track of all returns and ex-demo stock, ensuring it is processed in a timely manner and recorded accurately.
- Organise the return of faulty or unwanted goods and liaise with the relevant departments to ensure smooth processing.
- Ensure returned items are appropriately stored and categorised for resale, refurbishment, or disposal.
- **Operational Support**:

- Assist with the implementation of new processes and strategies to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment, stock replenishment, and distribution.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in stock handling and warehouse processes, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- **Daily Reporting to Management**:

- Provide daily updates to the management team on the status of warehouse operations, stock levels, and any key issues or concerns.
- Report on staff performance, warehouse productivity, and any areas requiring attention or improvement.
- Ensure all issues or challenges are communicated promptly and propose solutions as necessary.
- **Preparation for Meetings/Showrooms and Trade Shows**:

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of stock for meetings or showroom displays as required.
- Ensure that all stock is organised, labelled, and ready for display in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare and manage stock to be sent to trade shows or events, ensuring it is packed correctly and reaches the destination on time.
- Oversee the timely preparation of all stock for both inbound and outbound shipments related to trade shows and exhibitions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,000.00-£23,700.00 per hour
