We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The Kitchen Porter plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-equipped for food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for the culinary arts and wish to gain valuable experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Help with the storage of food items and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation to minimise waste.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Dispose of waste correctly and ensure recycling practices are followed.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for culinary work is key.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced cooks and chefs.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene practices is advantageous but training will be provided.
