**Community Support Worker Part Time 20 hours Per Week (driver preferred)**

**£9.80 per hour**

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can really make a difference to the lives of children and young people, supporting them to access the local and wider community and be more active and confident individuals?

Real Life Options are looking for support workers to work with children and young people in Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas

As a support worker you will support children and young people to be involved in fun, leisure and learning activities, and also attend social activities such as cinema, bowling, trampoline parks, sensory rooms, visits to local farms and much more.

Experience working with children and young people with behaviours of concern will be a strong advantage for this role. This post will cover evenings, weekends and school holidays and requires drivers who can use their own vehicles.

Drivers to have their own vehicle and have business insurance cover on their policy is necessary for this role, Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile.

Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.

A Child & Adult Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
