Job description

Staffpower Group are currently looking for numerous assembly operators on a full time basis for our fantastic client based in Team Valley, Gateshead.

**The Role**
- Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day.
- Assembling products by hand with use of hand tools.
- Working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
- Running machinery assisting with the overall production process.
- Quality inspection of a range of components.
- Maintain the company’s health & safety standards at all times.
- Overseeing machinery to ensure the process is running correctly.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
- Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.

**Benefits**
- All positions lead to a permanent contract after a successful probation period, up to 12 weeks probation.

**Hours**

This role is a 3 shift pattern with shift times below ;
Days - 07:00 - 15:00

Backs - 15:00 - 23:00

Nights - 23:00 - 07:00

**Pay rate**

Day shift will be paid at a rate of £9.50 an hour with backs paying £10.07 and nights being paid at £10.45. Overtime is paid at 1.5x & 2x

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.50-£19.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
