**Are you an experienced Operational Shift Manager looking for your next step? Are you ready for your next challenge?**

We are looking for a full-time, permanent, **Shift Manager** to join us at our reverse operation in Rochdale for our client, Asda. The site is a fast paced, diverse environment, providing the reverse operation, handling all returned productsand equipment from their stores. This will certainly keep you fit

You’ll be working on the rotational, Days, 6am - 6pm and Night shift, 6pm to 6am on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,500.00 per annum inclusive of night shift allowance. In addition, we offer 22 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high streetdiscounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Oversee the running of the tray wash and recycling operation.
- Ensure that the site is utilising resource effectively, monitoring headcount, efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Promote and develop a health and safety culture on site in line with the company’s policies
- Get involved with performance management, delivering KPI results and drive continuous improvement initiatives

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- A warehouse operational management background
- An excellent understanding of health and safety policies and procedures
- Experience of leading teams, providing guidance, coaching, mentoring and creating development plans
- The ability to communicate effectively in both a written and verbal capacity
