Job Advert

Windmill Village Hotel Golf Club & Spa, is a parkland course situated on the A45 between Coventry and the NEC. We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Senior Greenskeeper.

Key Requirements:

- 5 years’ experience and minimum NVQ level 3 in sports turf management (or equivalent)
- A good understanding of the game of golf
- Practical green keeping skills
- PA1, 2 and 6 spraying certificates. PA2A would be of benefit but not necessary.
- Trained and proficient in operating and maintaining heavy and light machinery

Duties will include:

- Assisting the Deputy & Course Manager in ensuring the golf course is maintained to high standards in their absence
- Performing tasks with the minimum of supervision, undertaking duties with due care and respect of Health and Safety procedures and company policies.
- Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and machinery, carry out minor repairs and routine maintenance as appropriate.
- Undertaking other appropriate duties as required by the Course Manager

Salary will be based on 39hrs per week with weekends on a rota basis

20 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Staff meals are provided on a daily basis

Other benefits are offered to the successful applicant within our hotel group
