IT Technician

**IT Technician Required for Secondary School in Kingston**

At Engage Education Services, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff to work in all kinds of roles in schools for over a decade. We’re currently looking for a dedicated and hardworking IT Technician to work full-time at a fantastic secondary schoolin Kingston.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality IT professionals to work with these schools and ensure they continue to run smoothly.

We are looking for an IT specialist who can provide specialist know-how in this crucial area so that this local school may continue to thrive and prosper.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

**About the role**

As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for all IT issues around the school. Your duties as a IT Technician can include:

- Working with senior staff members on strategic planning
- Setting up new computers.
- Assessing the schools requirements and making recommendations based on the current and future needs of the school.
- Ensuring value for money on any and all school projects.
- Ensuring the school complies with its GDPR obligations.

**The ideal applicant will have**:

- Experience planning and upgrading a school IT Network system.
- An excellent understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of working within a school environment
- Experience working with outside contractors to provide excellent value for money.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Commitment to the school's vision.
