**Buying Assistant - Fashion & Interiors**

Are you ready to dive into the exciting world of e-tail and make your mark in the fast-paced world of online retail? We are on the lookout for an ambitious, organised, and creative Buying Assistant or recent graduate wanting to start a career in Buying. With a flair for fashion and interiors you will join our expanding Lifestyle buying team at our Huddersfield headquarters. We’re offering a salary of up to £25,000 per year dependent on experience, amazing opportunities for career progression and a mix of home and office-based working. This role does require you to be based at our Huddersfield office for a minimum of 3 days per week.

**The Opportunity**:
As a Buying Assistant, you will work closely with a team of imaginative, trend-setting Buyers and Assistant Buyers to contribute to the expediential growth of our business. This role offers a unique chance to learn and develop within the buying sphere, supporting the team with essential administrative tasks to ensure our success continues to flourish.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Research trends and create mood boards and product analyses.
- Assist in administrative duties and compile regular reports using Excel.
- Attend trade fairs to explore new suppliers and gather insights.
- Work closely with Buying & Merchandising Teams to ensure accurate data management.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Customer Services to monitor returns and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team to optimize product presentation and launch strategies.
- Manage the department's critical path for timely product development and compliance.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Passion for Trends: You have a knack for spotting trends and a genuine interest in product development.
- Adaptability: Embrace change and possess a flexible mindset.
- Education: A degree in fashion or buying is preferred.
- Experience: Previous Buyer's Assistant experience is a plus but not essential.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and quality.
- Motivated Team Player: Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
