**Location**:WFH/Hybrid from our offices (106-108 Cowley Road, Oxford, OX4 1JE)

**Number of guaranteed hours per week**:35 hours

**Hourly rate of pay**:Real Living Wage (£9.90 p/h)

**Length of contract**: 9 months

**Work pattern**:TBC with line-manager

**JOB PLACEMENT SUMMARY**

UK Year of Service is an employability support programme that supports People to secure paid work, which is also underpinned and complimented by additional training/development opportunities. The programme offers People the opportunity to put their skills and beliefs to work and the chance to make a difference to communities across the country.

This role has been created in partnership with **International Tree Foundation** and **Catch22/UK Year of Service** programme. **International Tree Foundation** have secured this paid employment opportunity to work for them and will be your host organisation.

**OVERVIEW OF ROLE**

We’re looking for a talented communicator who work with our communications and engagement team to reach new people, show the impact of our work and help create long-term supporter loyalty.
- Creating content for social media to raise awareness of our work and inspire more people to get involved
- Reaching new audiences through digital marketing
- Ensuring ITF’s current and prospective donors know that their support is appreciated and will be inspired to plant more trees.
- Research and reach businesses to motivate them to reduce their environmental impact and plant trees with ITF.
- Support the smooth running of the comms and engagement team, particularly around our appeals and publications
- Undertake other responsibilities not outlined above which are commensurate with a role of this nature

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

Experience in any of these areas would be a huge asset
- Social media / Writing blogs
- Website management
- Writing in different styles for different audiences
- Digital marketing, particularly google ads
- SEO
- Photo and video editing

**ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA**
- You must be based in and eligible to work in the UK.
- You must not have been previously part of a UK Year of Service programme.
