**Main Duties**

As Grounds Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for keeping our customers sites looking great, including the following:

- Using mechanical lawn mowers, strimmer's, leaf blowers and hedge cutters and other tools
- Control weeds through careful chemical treatment (when qualified)
- Use our scheduling and reporting app to record what you've done
- Leave work areas clean, tidy and well maintained
- Comply with Health & Safety procedures and instructions
- Learn about and operate sustainable working practices
- You will provide management with relevant information and reporting as required, including reporting any site issues.
- Additional duties dependant on client site
- Work as part of a team

As an apprentice;
You will spend 20% of your training on learning and developing the required knowledge, skills and behaviours, which will take place out of the workplace and can be in a variety of ways such as; at college, online or face to face training and self-study time.

**Person Specification**
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Good demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills
- Eager to learn and be pro-active
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills
- Happy to work with mechanical equipment and hand tools
