Our Group of companies specialise in providing industry leading Sensory Environments for people with various cognitive and physical disabilities. Through successful expansion and acquisition, we are looking for a National Shop Fitter to join our growing team.

As a National Shop Fitter you will work as part of a small team to install Sensory Therapy equipment across the UK. Including a mixture of trade skills, joinery, fitting, basic wiring (supported by 18th Edition Electrician) this varied role can give a lot of job satisfaction. Most installations are approximately 2 days and the company aims for you to conduct at least 2 installations per week, which will require time away staying in hotels. The work is mainly “clean” working in finished rooms for schools, hospitals and private therapy clinics, (construction sites are occasional, but not frequent).

**Responsibilities**:

- Install equipment using project design drawings and specifications.
- Work efficiently as part of a team (or on your own) in order to meet tight project deadlines.
- Undertake specialist high-end construction tasks and duties (training will be provided).
- Work independently and unsupervised when required.
- Work collaboratively with site staff and contractors.
- Comply and follow site specific health and safety regulations.
- Competently and confidently use hand and power tools.
- Manage and maintain construction tools and equipment required for each project.
- Be able to communicate any unresolved installation issues in a timely manner directly to the Installation Administrator
- Required to have a clean driving license, where applicable.
- Must be task-driven and self-motivated.
- Good communication skills.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- Excellent eye for detail
- Be able to work away, depending on project location.
- Preferably 1-2 years educational experience in carpentry, joinery or similar.
- Valid CSCS card
- Advanced DBS check
Own transport needed for travel to the office, but the Company will provide a van for all the work. Company tools provided, as well as all required PPE and uniform. All hotel and subsistence costs paid for by the Company.

The working hours can be somewhat flexible, based on customer needs. School holidays tend to be a busy period where additional hours may be required to be worked. Therefore overtime rates are applicable once monthly contractual hours are exceeded.

Full Time hours: 40 per week.

Long Eaton, Derbyshire. Salary - £15 per hour, Expected earnings approx. £35k+ p/a
