**Main Job Purpose**:
Retail Controller oversees a diverse channel encompassing discount customers (Farm Foods, The Range, Bodycare, Iceland), retail customers (B&Q, M&S, WH Smith, Booths), and e-commerce customers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the entire product mix, including all household, health, and beauty products from various suppliers.

**Key Tasks**:
**Channel Oversight**:
As the Retail Controller, your primary responsibility is to manage and strategise for a diverse channel portfolio, ensuring effective engagement with discount, retail, and e-commerce customers. Your proactive approach involves staying informed about market trends and tailoring strategies accordingly.

**Financial Responsibility**:
Take charge of a substantial Turnover, overseeing all financial aspects within your channel. Your financial acumen will be crucial for optimising profitability and driving sustained growth.

**Team Leadership**:
Lead a dynamic team of 9 individuals, fostering a culture of excellence, development, and collaboration. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in steering the team towards achieving collective goals.

**Growth Leadership**:
Drive the growth agenda for your channel, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to enhance market share and profitability. Your strategic insights will be key in navigating the competitive landscape and fostering innovation.

**Customer Engagement**:
Enhance customer engagement strategies to foster lasting relationships with key clients. Implement effective strategies that contribute to sustained and mutually beneficial partnerships.

**Experience/Competencies Required**:

- Customer Management:

- Bring a minimum of 5 years of robust experience in effectively managing customers within the retail and e-commerce channel. Your ability to understand and meet customer needs is paramount.
- Proven Growth Record:

- Demonstrate a track record of delivering continuous year-on-year growth in a similar role. Showcase your proficiency in driving sustainable business expansion within the retail sector.
- Team Leadership:

- Demonstrate a proven capability to build and lead a first-class sales team. Your ability to foster collaboration and excellence within the team is crucial to achieving collective success.
- Change Management:

- Illustrate experience in bringing positive change to an organization, demonstrating adaptability and strategic thinking. Your ability to navigate and drive positive transformations is vital to our dynamic environment.
