**Night Shift Traffic Clerk**

**Wm Pringle & Son Ltd** | **4 on 4 off rota (6 PM - 6 AM)**

Are you looking for a **fast-paced role** in transport logistics where **no two nights are the same**? Wm Pringle & Son Ltd is on the lookout for an experienced **Traffic Clerk (Night Shift)** to join our dynamic team

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our transport operations run **smoothly and efficiently**, supporting our drivers and keeping everything on track.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
✔ **Coordinating vehicle movements** to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
✔ **Communicating with drivers, customers, and third parties** to keep operations flowing.
✔ **Using vehicle tracking and traffic management software** to monitor fleet performance.
✔ **Briefing and debriefing drivers**, making sure all documentation is completed correctly.
✔ **Problem-solving on the go**—handling any issues that arise during the shift.
✔ **Ensuring compliance** with transport legislation and company policies.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in a **transport/logistics environment** (preferred).
- Strong **attention to detail** for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Basic knowledge of **UK transport legislation** or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with **driver hours, working time directive & compliance** (training provided).
- Ability to work with **Tachomaster & vehicle tracking software** (training provided).
- Good **geographical knowledge** of the UK.
- **Proactive, problem-solving mindset** with strong communication skills.
- Confident using **Microsoft Word & Excel**.
