Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of UK wide provider of care**,**using smart technology to help individuals on their terms. They are currently recruiting for multiple call handlers to join the team at their new office based in Blackburn. You will be joining team of over 300 people who provide consistent help tothose who require it.

**Purpose**:
To contribute to the provision of the highest quality telecare and telephone response service for each and every customer. You will approach each and every call as if it could be life threatening and will manage the call with sensitivity, understanding andpatience, ensuring that the customer receives the appropriate support that they need whilst also complying with our client and regulatory requirements

**Duties**:

- To provide the highest possible standard of customer care and support at all times whilst always giving priority to the safety and security of service users.
- To be customer focused, ensuring all interactions are handled in accordance with specified service standards
- Have a confident telephone manner with prompt and accurate administration skills.
- To escalate appropriately any problems or difficulties experienced with any aspect of system operation or procedure.
- To liaise with care givers, social workers, members of the primary care team, emergency services, sheltered housing teams, etc. to ensure that the services we provide are coordinated appropriately with the care and support being provided to service usersby other parties.
- Have a can-do, positive attitude, using your initiative to be able to work as part of a team and be able to prioritiseyour daily duties according to the business needs.
- Work in accordance with the Company’s mission statement, aims and values, corporate objectives and service standards.
- To achieve appropriate Targets and KPI’s as outlined by your line manager

Working hours:
The company operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so there are a variety of shifts available. You will need to be flexible but the rota's are given to you 6 weeks in advance, there are day and night shifts available as well as full time and part time contracts.

If you work between the hours of 22:00 and 06:30 you will be paid an increase of £2.00ph
