**What will you be doing?**
Working alongside the Savings Support Manager, you will assist with the provision of savings support to Society branches, members, internal savings teams, senior management and our Board. Providing support in the maintenance, administration and reporting of the Society’s savings business and the management of our savings policies and procedures.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum 6 GCSEs grade A-C (including English and Maths)
- IT literate with strong MS office and IT skills (including word and excel)
**Desirable Criteria**
- Compliance/savings accounts experience
**About The Role**
**ROLE SPECIFIC**
- Reporting to the Savings Support Manager;
- Assisting the Savings Support Manager with project work, savings related tasks and with various reporting duties including regulatory reporting and savings related management information, which is regularly prepared for various Committees, our Board and our Regulators;
- Assisting in the management of critical savings business services and related administration - e.g. ISA transfers, post office services, dormant and deceased accounts, bonds, rates, products, letter production, savings procedures, policy management and providing support to Society branches, teams and management, interest rate changes, new account documentation etc;
- Responsibility for dealing with savings enquiries from branches regarding disputes, family issues and vulnerable customers and liaising with our legal advisers;
- Co-ordinating Savings Meetings and keeping management up to date with regulatory and savings related compliance issues;
- Keeping branches up to date with our Savings and Compliance information by using regular communication methods (e.g. bulletin notice, Microsoft Teams etc);
- Assisting with training and development of branch and head office staff members when required;
- Attending Sopra User Group and regulator meetings and reporting back to senior management on any enhancements / developments required;
- Meeting deadlines for the production and issue of customer communications and reporting requirements to HMRC and statutory bodies;
- Awareness of our Customer Support services - using our Service Now and Salesforce Platforms, working closely with Senior manager - Support Services, Savings Support Manager, Team Leaders and Controllers to identify and organise appropriate training and development of the teams to strive towards a multi-skilled, efficient, professional and first class service offering for customers;
- Reporting any issues or enhancements required to the online portal;
- Knowledge of the Society’s various savings related policies and procedures;
- Provide development support to our Savings Administrators when required.
- Assisting with FOS queries, savings related complaints and member disputes;
- To support branches, other Society departments, Senior management and our Board as required;
- Other savings related duties as outlined by senior management.
**ROLE GENERIC**

- Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team and work effectively as a team member, ensuring that the highest standards of member service and work output are achieved.
- Keep abreast of the latest innovations and developments, relative to your remit.
- Ensure compliance at all times with Society, regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Help implement new practices, positively responding to change and make suggestions to drive continuous improvement.
- Meet performance measures and KPIs set for you and your team.
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner with members of your team and other parts of the business.
- Participate in training & development opportunities.
**GENERAL**

- Produce the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the Society’s Policies, T&C Scheme, Conduct Rules, Codes of Practice and operational procedures.
- Comply with Information & Cyber Security controls as relevant to your day to day duties.
- Work safely as a member of a team to carry out Health & Safety working practices.
- Carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the department(s).
