About Us: Bumblebees has been providing exceptional care since 2019, and we’re excited to expand our family-run, private setting in Redcar. We operate 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 7:30AM to 5:30PM.
What We’re Hiring For: We are currently seeking a part-time team member (minimum 20 hours) to join our small team. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
Your Role Will Include:
Caring for babies and children up to age 11
Planning and implementing engaging activities that spark curiosity
Collaborating with parents for seamless care
Creating a safe and supportive environment
Following OFSTED guidelines for safeguarding
Supervising meal times, rest periods, and personal care
Attending staff meetings and training opportunities
Monitoring safety and maintaining confidentiality
What We’re Looking For:
Level 3 Certificate (Level 2 considered)
Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Previous childcare experience is ideal
A passion for making learning fun and engaging
Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and parents
Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices

Pay: From £12.20 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
**Education**:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
