**Shift Pattern**: 8pm - 8am (Wake Nights only)

**Location**: Luxulyan, Bodmin (Cornwall)

**Requirements**: UK driver’s license (desired but not essential), LDA experience.

**About the role**

The role will be supporting a gentleman in his 30s, who is currently residing in his own home.

Our client is supported on a 2:1 staffing ratio over a 24-hour period, he has an acquired a brain injury due to a physical assault which he sustained as a baby. Our client also has Profound and multiple learning disabilities and is visually impaired; and has a Complex body shape, partly contributed to by contractures of his arms and legs and is Non-verbal, he is also fed through a NG tube.

Our client requires an experienced staff team who will support him in his current home and also support him to access the activities that he enjoys such as visiting the hydrotherapy pool, socialising in his local community, staff will have to undertake personal care on behalf of him.

Staff members will also need to ensure that our client remains safe and that his physical health needs are managed effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with all aspects of daily living
- Support to access activities he enjoys.
- Medication management.
- Moving and Handling
- NG experience of using this type of equipment but training will be given.
- Ensuring he is supported to maintain the home.

**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:

- It is desirable that applicants have a full driving license due to location.
- LDA experience is required for this role.
