In this Junior Marketing Consultant Role in Bedford, you will join a rapidly-growing digital transformation consultancy focused on the Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical sector. This team of experts provide business consultancy services to international marketing and sales senior professionals within the world’s leading Pharma and Life Sciences companies, including Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca. Working across 13 countries, this skilled team of strategists specialise in Digital Transformation, Marketing and Communications, Creative Media, and Product Design - allowing global players in Pharma to strategise and thrive.

Following global success and amidst a company rebrand, they are now looking to expand their UK team based in Bedford with several permanent hires, including a Junior Consultant.

**Job description - Graduate Consulting Scheme**
In this Junior Consultant position for graduates in Bedfordshire, your role will be extremely varied, as you will support multiple expert consultants on their client consulting programmes, gaining exposure to every area of the business.

Consulting work is embedded within client teams, so you’ll integrate directly with the internal teams of some of the largest businesses in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors, taking on key elements of consulting programmes. This will involve direct client communication, strategy meetings, data analysis, marketing plans, product and content ideas and more. There’s also the opportunity to manage the company's in-house marketing content and strategy

**This position is based near Flitwick, Bedfordshire; the office is most easily accessible by car.**

- In this Marketing Consultant job in Bedford, your responsibilities will include:_
- Integrating directly into client businesses, working with their senior marketing professionals
- Supporting expert consultants across every area of various consulting programmes
- Gaining invaluable exposure to business consultancy, kickstarting your career in marketing consulting
- Completing external courses to gain industry qualifications
- Researching and identifying relevant digital trends that can inform and impact disruptive transformations within a company or industry
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary and executive teams to using both analytical and creative techniques to create novel insights and opportunities for clients
- Developing a deep understanding of the client’s customers through advanced quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Authoring and voicing original ideas and recommendations to advance commercial performance across our clients' businesses’
- Leading and contributing towards the growth and success of internal core business services
- Attending client events
- Contributing to in-house marketing and content
- Originate and support new business initiatives by designing recommended thought leadership, point-of-views and supporting the company’s core value proposition
- Design and lead the development of our culture to include important investments in Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) and oversee a B-Corp accreditation

**Key Requirements - Graduate Consulting Scheme**
- A graduate from university, with a background in either a Life Sciences discipline, or in Business, Marketing, Economics related areas
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in working directly with high-profile consultants and clients
- A real drive for kickstarting a career in consulting, particularly in marketing
- An active and demonstrable interest in the Life Sciences or Digital Transformation of commercial business
- Interest in working at a start-up company
- A creative problem solver able to unpack challenges from multiple dimensions
- An analytical thinker with the ability to manage data and draw key insights
- Independence and ambition
