Lunchtime Assistant

Oak Tree Nursery is looking for a lunchtime assistant to help us out

This job opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking for part time work to work somewhere between 20-25 hours per week, working Monday-Friday in between the hours of 10am-3pm (exact shift times can be negotiable)

The role will entail the following:

- supporting the teams to deliver home style lunch socialising opportunities for the children
- supporting the teams to set up tables for lunch time, and clearing down afterwards
- engaging with the children in fun activities after lunch time
- maintaining high levels of hygiene
- clean down after food service
- occasionally holding cooking/baking lessons with the children

A bit about you:

- You MUST have a big smile on your face that will make each child's face light up when they see you
- You should enjoy being in a nursery environment, and be confident in leading cooking/baking classes with the children on occasion
- You will find joy in the little moments in life...such as laugh when you hear the children laugh, and smile when you see the children's faces when their favourite meal is served to them
- You must be organised and be good at time keeping
- You will need to bring oodles of patience and a sense of humour We are a social bunch at the nursery who love getting together for regular training (and parties)

As we work with children, we take safeguarding seriously so an enhanced DBS will be done once you have been appointed.

**Salary**: From £13,000.00 per year
