**Aufgaben**:
- Provide market competitive procurement solutions for the operating unit which demonstrate best overall value for money
- Provide an effective and professional service in the procurement of materials covering:
- Work winning supply chain selection for Bid Leader
- Construction stage project procurement for Project Leader, including:
- Supporting the production and driving of the procurement schedule
- Supporting the development of work package documents in conjunction with project teams
- Work package procurementSupport the supply chain management activities, including structuring the supply chain, carrying out performance and
- relationship management to drive improved performance/cost benefits
- Support activities that generate and encourage an efficient, productive and continuously improving supply chain performance
- Support the group procurement functional goals and objectives within the region
- Ensure supplier evaluation forms and risk assessments are maintained
- Providing a comprehensive procurement service for all projects
- Deliver a consistent procurement approach across all projects within the region from work winning / pre-construction stage.
- Demonstrate best overall value for money in the procurement recommendations
- Ensure a robust negotiation process is applied in the engagement process
- Ensure contract arrangements and package details are comprehensive and protect the business in its dealings with suppliers
- Ensure decisions are not focussed upon lowest price but overall best value for money
- Support the development of an accredited and structured supply chain that is aligned to the regional demands and overall strategy
- Input to the monitoring of the marketplace to ensure awareness of pricing trends, risks and opportunities
- Continuously seek out and assess new supply chain members to meet regional project demand
- Support the monitoring of the supply chain performance, workload and financial status to protect the corporate position
- Support the development of the supply chain, products and innovations that bring cost and/or buildability benefits
**Qualifikationen**:
- CIPS qualified Experience within a construction/engineering or similar background
- CSCS Card (relevant type)
- All roles are expected to have the relevant competency skills cards where site-based work is required.
- Minimum 3 years Buying experience
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of work practices, processes and procedures within the construction process from pre-construction stage and into construction stage. Good knowledge of sustainability within procurement practices.
- Good existing business network and relationships with the supply chain.
- Experience of running supply chain events
- Experience with tendering process (CompeteFor etc)
- Good product and supplier knowledge
- Good working knowledge of contracts.
- Good time management skills.
- MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).
