**What you will enjoy doing**: You will join an established Quality Team at our Droitwich location and will be responsible for ensuring that final products are complying with the customer specification by carrying out product testing using specific lab equipment and recording results on computer systems. - Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes & isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift - Conduct CCP verification checks. - Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run. - Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly. - Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) - Where failings are identified escalate to Management for investigation before the end of the shift. - Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings - To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices. - To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times. - To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may, from time to time be reasonably required and which are consistent with the "Main Purpose of the job". **What makes you great**: **Experience Required**: - Highly analytical and exceptional attention to detail - Competent with IT systems - Organised and able to communicate results effectively - Awareness and knowledge of food safety policies **What you can expect working with us**: **Trainee Quality Inspector** - Rotating Shifts / Days (Earlies / Lates)** Starting salary £22,000 - £24,000 + Excellent Benefits & Development Opportunities **Benefits**: - Full Training package provided - Free uniform and PPE - Great rates of pay and overtime opportunities - Free parking on site - Life assurance from day one - Company Pension scheme Our new perk box offering a wealth of benefits such as: - Money off purchases such as food, drink, cinema, tickets, clothing, and homeware and so much more - A number of freebies across the perk box site, such as free coffees - Online access to free exercise and yoga classes with 24/7 access to qualified therapists Contact Kerry McCormick to discuss opportunities with ALPLA UK.
