Energy Manager - Manchester - £35 - £40k

A leading FM company is recruiting an Energy Manger to work across a defence contract.

As the new Energy Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of technical services to the internal and external customers in all aspects of energy & water management, conservation and compliance.

You will measure and report energy & water performance for their clients and own business against contractual targets, KPI's and/or Measurement and Verification protocols, supporting the business by managing the monthly reporting, analysis & recommendations.

You will operate as an outsourced Energy Manager for their clients, delivering savings through the analysis of data, site visits, behaviour/awareness campaigns, identifying & delivering savings/risk management opportunities, provide detailed advice regardingthe operation and maintenance of the energy consuming infrastructure to deliver optimal carbon and energy efficiency - e.g. boilers, chillers, HVAC, lighting etc.
You will understand the clients strategy, objectives and tactical requirements and how the organisation can help deliver against these.
Advise our customers & own business on key upcoming risks around market trends, pricing, legislation etc.
Review and continually improve their Energy & Water Management capabilities
Provide technical support and advice relating to energy & water efficiency within the company to continually improve the wider FM services to clients.

We would look for the following:
Associate/Member of relevant professional Institution (e.g., CIBSE, Energy Institute, IET), or working towards.

Formal qualifications in ISO50001 or IPMVP will be an advantage

Membership of Energy Institute, CIBSE, IET or equivalent (or working towards)
