About You:
You are an ambitious and results-driven Senior Health and Safety Consultant with a proven track-record of engaging and influencing senior management. You may have worked within the telecommunications industry where you have managed real-world health and safety risks and have extensive knowledge of CDM regulations, particularly around the rollout of mobile telecommunications infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible for the following:

- Taking responsibility for large-scale telecommunications projects as part of the client's health and safety team.
- Develop and deliver health and safety strategies to support the client
- Implementation of policies and processes to assist and enable organisations to comply and achieve improved outcomes
- Provide strong, visible, proactive functional health and safety leadership
- Deliver high-quality, professional and proactive support
- Influence and empower faculties and professional services staff to shape and implement robust health and safety plans that drive performance improvements where required
- Lead on major incidents and accident investigations and ensure that preventive actions are implemented
- Briefing clients on their statutory duties under the CDM 2015 and other health and safety legislation
- Delivery of project induction and training requirements
- Coordinating the completion of Pre-Construction Information including liaison with client representatives and designers
- Attending client and project team meetings as appropriate to review and promote health and safety compliance
- Working with supply chain and procurement to ensure that H&S processes are efficient and in line with internal standards and legal responsibilities
- Host weekly management briefings
- Attend multi-skilled visits to audit installation sites
- Management of client documents
- Complete risk assessment, site inspections, audits and compliance reviews

Your Qualifications:

- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Electrical qualification (desirable)
- Radio Engineering qualification (desirable)
- Civil/Structural Engineering qualification (desirable)
- Full clean driving licence (essential)

Your Experience and Attributes:

- Experience in either telecommunications acquisition, design, build, radio engineering, maintenance
- Direct / indirect people management experience
- Construction Design Management Regulations within telecommunications experience
- Progressive and forward-thinking
- Highly engaging and have a compelling communication style
- Ambitious and results driven
- Ready to take ownership of complex health and safety issues and empower others to do the same
- Willingness to travel with some overnight stays

**Salary**: From £55,000.00 per year
