As we continue to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic, **Management Accountant** to work with a small Finance & Purchasing team for a Telecoms business, as well as manage a small Property Investment portfolio.

This is a really varied and hands on **Management Accountant** position, where you will become a responsible and valued part of the management team.

**Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant**:

- Monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet,and all journal adjustments
- Updating cash flow forecast
- Relevant financial analysis & commentary of performance
- Quarterly VAT returns & Tax Compliance
- Cash management/cash-flow forecasting
- Production of Monthly Salaries, including sales commissions (an external payroll company is used)
- Management of 2 staff in the Finance & Purchasing Team
- Management of debt with the help of the Finance Assistant
- Margin and cost analysis and active involvement in the sales process from a commercial perspective
- Collaborating with the external accountants to ensure that all accounting information is delivered on a timely basis

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- Previous experience in similar Management Accountant role
- Good Excel skills are essential (VLOOKUP’s, pivots, macros)
- Experience in Sage 50 is desirable
- Experience of working in SME environment
- Hands-on attitude; this role will require some transactional processing work as well as managerial and advanced accountancy work
