**Due to growth within our Pets department we are looking to recruit 1 Full Time, Permanent Assistant Merchandiser to be based at our Head Office in Speke, Liverpool.**

As an Assistant Merchandiser, reporting into Senior Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include intake management, forecasting, replenishment of core lines, creation and maintenance of reports. To be successful, you should have problem solving capabilities, with strong analytical and decision making skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual in a similar role, or a trainee merchandiser looking to progress and develop their skills within a fast-paced buying team.

**The key accountabilities for this role are**:

- Working with suppliers to ensure excellent availability of all core sku’s
- Working alongside the Merchandisers to forecast sales and plan intake
- Creating and maintaining weekly / ad hoc reports
- Creating and raising purchase orders

**The Skills/Experience required are**:

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
- Ability to work at speed with good time management
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Exceptional data interpretation and analytical skills
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
