Harrison Spinks Events is part of the wider Harrison Spinks Group and is a unique event business based in North Yorkshire, with its own charming venues including Hornington Manor, Carlton Manor and The Motorist & The Arnage.

The Arnage Restaurant is the newest addition to The Motorist. The Arnage is named after the iconic corner of the legendary Le Mans circuit and offers high quality dining and conference space to cater to every event.

We are seeking a **Meetings and Events Supervisor** to join the team here in Sherburn in Elmet.

The **Meeting & Events Supervisor** will ensure a smooth & efficient operation, both leading up and on the day of events.

Reporting into the Assistant Ops Managers. They will provide a highly personalised service which meets all clients’ needs and aspirations and brings the event service to the next level of quality.

Full Time position, working 5 days over 7. Please note this role will involve weekend and evening working.

Duties include:

- Communicates effectively with Guests, departments and clients via written correspondence, phone, and face to face.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when assisting with and dealing with everyone needs, from clients, guests and third parties needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and personalised service for each individual external and internal guests.
- Provide Leadership through leading by example, and clearly communicate both operational & strategic information to the team
- Support with team colleagues training and development and empower your team by providing an inspiring service culture through briefings and team meetings.

About you

As the Meetings & Events Supervisor, you will have a superb eye for detail, and excellent communication skills both written and verbally - whilst having a creative flair to maximize new sales & event opportunities.

As a key team player, you will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to react on a day-to-day basis for requests whilst having the ability to learn new skills quickly, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.

You will be driven by delivering exceptional standards and have a true passion to deliver outstanding results.
