Divisional Finance Manager Based in Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire our prestigious client, who appeared in the "Best Companies to Work For" list, are looking for a Divisional Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant or an experienced all-round accountant qualified by experience to be responsible for producing the monthly and annual accounts for this successful division of the business. This company are a leading UK business, delivering nationwide projects across numerous sectors, looking to cover an internal secondment due to a new systems implementation. The business has seen a huge bounce back since Covid and is in the process of implementingDynamics 365 to further evolve and improve the business. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant, or qualified by experience, with strong experience in both financial and management accounting. You should have a strong enough personality and experience to confidently liaise with non-finance peoplein senior roles across the division. Job responsibilities: - Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts in conjunction with key divisional stakeholders - Prepare detailed income forecasts with each team - Prepare a detailed cost plan with each site and assist with the management of that plan - Prepare ad hoc business plans and appraisals for any growth initiatives/ new projects - Present financial information at relevant divisional board and team meetings - Regularly attend team meetings to gain an insight into operations/performance and offer financial guidance and advice - Monthly financial reporting - profit and loss accounts + balance sheets - Dealing with adhoc requests from senior members of staff / main board. - Use initiative to solve problems and explore different solutions to a problem. - Lead by example for junior members of the team.
