**Job Description**:
**Working across our global Health & Nutrition and Natural Resources marketing teams, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring our social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales. Ultimately, you will help to increase our web traffic and ensure that our customer engagement activities align with our marketing strategies.**
**More specifically, you will**:
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
- Create engaging text, image and video content for our social media channels (such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc) as well as our websites highlight content.
- Propose new ways for content delivery and design posts and web highlight promotion to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new services.
- Coordinate LinkedIn Live Events with speakers, moderator and Marketing Managers.
- Ensure consistency of our promotional messages across social media and web platform.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Analyse & advise if our strategic social media approach should be reviewed to better align to our market.
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
- Work with the Marketing Managers to define when advertising will be beneficial, develop and then monitor ads.
- Work with the corporate communication department to propose new approaches to our digital platform.
- Devise and deliver internal training to co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.
- Generate a weekly internal newsletter to provide insights on our competitors’ activities on their different digital channels.
- Provide monthly and yearly results report on social media and websites promotion along with recommendations.
- Define social media and web KPIs & measure traffic with the support of the Marketing Analyst
- Liaise with the corporate communications team to promote cross-channel campaigns, e.g. celebrating International Women’s Day.
**Qualifications**:
- 2 years' experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
- Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social media best practices.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs as well as SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Knowledge of social media platform such as Sprout
- Familiarity with creative design tools for graphics and videos such as Canva and Clipchamp.
Additional Information
**This position will be based in Glasgow.
