**Housekeeping Supervisor**

**Fairfield House Hotel**

We are currently looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor at Fairfield House Hotel. The role will support the Head Housekeeper in the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping department. You will be involved in cleaning rooms, publics areas and lodges, supporting the management of the housekeeping team, ordering stock / cleaning materials and performing room checks.

**Your duties will include**:

- To support Head Housekeeper with rota's and daily business
- To support the leadership and management of the Housekeeping team
- To carry out room checks and ensure standards are at the expected level
- To train and develop new housekeepers
- To deal with any issues that arise in the department
- Cleaning of all public areas within the hotel
- Cleaning of all bedrooms within the hotel as per day to day occupancy and expected arrivals, ensuring all special requests for rooms are carried out
- Ensuring that all rooms are cleaned to the standard as set by the company relevant documentation is completed for room checks.
- Ensure all faults within rooms and public areas are report to the Duty Manager.
- Reporting of any concerns regarding guest abuse of bedrooms.
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of all guests within the hotel.
- Adhering to all instructions as given by Duty Manager and Head of Housekeeping
- Ensuring working and public areas are kept clean and tidy and safe from hazards

**Person Specification**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning (essential)
- Previous supervisor or management experience preferred
- Must be hard-working, reliable and punctual
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong customer service
- Can work well independently and as part of a team

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

Pay: £9.90-£10.50 per hour
