**Salary**:£11.30 per hour
**Hours**:30 hours - Monday to Friday, Flexible 6 Hours per Day
**Purpose of the role**:
To flexibly support our cleaning teams across the area covering holidays and sickness on sites within our portfolio in and around Carlisle, by delivering a high standard cleaning service for our customers, ensuring that areas are hygienic, clean and safe for people to use. To always operate in a safe manner, observing company health and safety policies and guidelines.
**Main role responsibilities**:
- Travel to, and work from in a company vehicle, any of the sites in your ‘area’ as cover is required. These requests may be made with very short notice, so flexibility is key
- Cleaning, stocking and supplying designated areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping,, restroom cleaning etc cleaning both schools and commercial sites.)
- To be punctual with your time-keeping; operating a quick and efficient cleaning service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
- Ensure uniforms are worn at all times on site; displaying a professional image of our company
- Follow instructions when given for specific requirements at various facilities
- Report any problems or broken equipment to the appropriate site supervisor, or your line manager, as soon as possible
- Undertake training as necessary to maintain the requirements of specific contracts
**Qualifications**
Essential: Valid full driving licence
Desirable: Knowledge of the cleaning industry
Previous cleaning experience
