We’re looking for dedicated Home Care Assistants in Whitehaven to become part of our welcoming team. This rewarding role gives you the chance to help people remain independent in their own homes, while always being treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

No two days are the same — you might be enjoying a friendly chat over a cup of tea, helping with personal care, offering medication reminders, or supporting with light household tasks. Every client is unique, and you’ll provide tailored support that truly matters.

Your role will include
- Supporting with daily routines and personal care
- Providing medication prompts and light household assistance
- Offering companionship and reducing feelings of isolation
- Working full-day shifts between 07:00-23:00
- Having alternate weekends off to maintain balance

We’re looking for
- Caring, adaptable, and understanding individuals
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
- Applicants aged 18 or over
- A valid UK driving licence

What you’ll receive
- Starting hourly rate of £13.50, with opportunities to increase
- Travel time between calls paid at NMW
- Permanent contract with guaranteed hours
