North Tyneside CAMHS have fantastic opportunities for professionals interested in taking their career forward in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. We are a Multi-disciplinary Specialist CAMHS located in Albion Road Clinic North Shields. We are able to consider flexibility of working patterns. We currently have opportunities in our:
**CAMHS Single Point of Access Team. This role will involve**:
Managing all new referrals to CAMHS
Liaising with partner agencies
Undertaking Initial Triage appointments
Delivering CAMHS SPA Duty rota
Delivering a parenting workshop alongside Local Authority colleagues
Collaborative working with colleagues in other CAMHS Pathways
- To work alongside Multi-Disciplinary Team colleagues in CAMHS
- To undertake assessments and deliver interventions
- To undertake risk assessments and formulate risk plans
- To liaise with other agencies
- To support Junior staff
- To support service developments and delivery
- To participate and deliver Supervision
To play a key role in the provision of an highly specialist service to Children, Young People and their families accessing North Tyneside Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services. To offer community based and outpatient mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, young people and their families.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
