About the Role

As a General Operative, you will work as part of our Bakery and Packing teams to help our production lines runs smoothly.

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment or a fast paced production would be beneficial, however this is not essential as full training will be provided to you.

As we are the leading supplier of premium biscuits in Scotland, quality is important to us. We are looking for individuals with an eye for detail, who will always work in line with our high quality standards. If you enjoy being part of a team, and consider yourself to be a strong team player, this role may be for you.

About Border

At Border, we are a family run business who, since 1984, have been making Beautifully Crafted Biscuits. We produce the number one chocolate ginger biscuit in the UK. Our amazing biscuits are produced for many major supermarkets, retailers and businesses not only in the UK, but internationally.

We believe that biscuits are one of lifes little pleasures and our greatest passion. We believe biscuits should be nothing short of exceptional and were proud to make ours just that.

In our Lanark factory, 170 people are personally responsible for outstanding quality, whether theyre sourcing ingredients, weighing, baking or packing. We believe that our biscuits are a Recipe for Good and we donate 10% of our profits to good causes in our local community every year.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain our high-quality standards
- Excellent team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including the possibility of shift work.
