**Salary: £19,305 - £20,865**

**Start Date: ASAP**

Leader Education is working in partnership with an SEN school based in **West Ashby, Horncastle**. We are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEMH school, providing educational support to students aged between 13 and 16.

We are looking for applicants that have **experience in working with SEN pupils** and are committed to facilitating the creation of an inclusive, personalised learning atmosphere for SEMH learners.

Your new role involves:

- Supporting SEN learning on a 1:1 basis or small groups
- Liaising with teachers to ensure the best possible progress for the pupil/s
- Delivering fun, engaging activities and sessions
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil/s

You need to be
- Able to handle challenging behaviours confidently
- Flexible and adaptable in order to meet the specific unique needs of learners
- Creative and organised in your approach to aid learning
- Passionate about helping the learner/s achieve their personal and academic goals
