Welding Supervisor

As part of our continued growth and expansion as well as being awarded various significant contracts. We now embark on more projects, including from the nuclear sector, as well as still continuing to deliver to our long-standing customer base. With this, we are looking for a new Welding Supervisor to oversee our team of approximately 15 colleagues.

The business supplies industrial fans to a whole range of industries and companies. We are lucky and privileged to provide our products into systems for well-known names.

**Fabrication Supervisor Role and Responsibilities**:

B. **Your Role and Responsibilities**. These are related to the job specific position of Welding Supervisor
- 1. Meet daily production targets

2. Update Planning system

3. Communicate delays or issues early on with Planner and Production Manager

4. Ensure welding procedures are adhered to

5. Ensure inspections on each job are completed by Quality team

6. Collate parts and complete documentation for outsourcing

7. Allocate physical work to the team

8. Oversee forming area, prioritising work

9. Ensure mandatory extraction and PPE is used at all times

10. Order for replenishment - Welding and FLT gas

11. Ensure lifting equipment inspection is carried out weekly as scheduled

12. Monitor and manage stock of flat bar and angle

**Working hours are**:
Mon - Thur 7am til 4pm

Fri - 7am til 12pm

Salary is competitive, based on previous experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: From £30,000.00 per year
