**SEN Teaching Assistant** A top Special Needs school in South East London is recruiting for new additional SEN Teaching Assistant staff. The successful applicants will join a successful team and start as soon as possible.You will be responsible for assisting small ASD classes of6-8 students from early years up to KS2. The school itself is a specialschoolforlearnerswithcomplexlearningdifficulties including: - Pupils with Cognitive, Communication and Developmental Delays - Pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties - Pupils with Complex Medical Needs Many of it's pupils have Severe Learning Difficulties and Additional Disabilities including: - Sensory Impairments - Autism - Physical Disabilities - Epilepsy - Other Medical Needs The school will invest heavily in your development and encourages career progression and professional development through regular CPD training. **About the Role**: - SEN Teaching Assistant - South East London - Assisting ASD students in a number of classes from Early Years up to KS2 - 6-8 pupils in a class with a teacher and 3 x Teaching Assistants - Immediate start, full time position for the academic year - Weekly CPD courses available - Excellent opportunities for career progression and development - Daily rate up to £90 **About the School**: - Purpose built modern Complex Needs School in South East London - Caters for children aged 4-11 years old - Rated "Good" by Ofsted 2019 - Two sensory rooms - Two soft play rooms, a large hall, a studio for physical activities - Two outdoor play areas, a sensory garden, a cookery room and small hydrotherapy pool - On site therapists, physical therapists and specialist trained support workers **In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria**: - Have experience working with or supporting young children - A passion for special needs - Good common sense - A can do attitude - A sense of humour - Have proven experience working within nurseries or schools in a UK-based classroom - Eligible to work in the UK - Valid DBS/police checks **Reeson Education**: REESON Education is London's Premier Recruitment Agency.
